Poetry / Powder Smooth Suffocation

I’m pleased you enjoyed this piece, however I feel a bit of incompleteness…So as I’ve decided to stop rating people’s reviews, because of the inability to select anything but all or nothing, could you please expand?  I only ask because I hate to assume I know what you mean, when perhaps I don’t.  Thank you much.  

As per what I intended by this poem, I’m ecstatic you discovered the essence of what I think is my writing: whatever it is you feel, think, and/or want it to be!  I.e. you give meaning to certain words based on your past, and who am I to discern what that creates.  

Strictly for me, and I hesitate to even say, but I meant this to be for a lover – who I cannot even be friends with, because I cannot let go and the sheer presence catches me off balance and – I cannot be me around this person, because I cannot even breath properly.

I did get the meaning of your poem in terms of being overwhelmed so by a lover you can hardly breathe in his or her presence, the intricacies of your personal relationship are particular to you alone but I felt there was something sinister or untoward in the past of this relationship and yet one could not help stop loving this person, i.e. obsession. The poem strikes out of prescribed boundaries using fresh images in novel ways, so unique on Urbis which runs a muck with hacked work. The line I had the most trouble with understanding was …of spiders crypto decay. Not sure what that means, but it sounds good! :) I hope to read more of your work! Best, WW
