I wouldn’t say it’s drop dead hilarious either. I just didn’t know where else to post it. Quotes, maybe? I just placed it here, because it was meant for a humble chuckle, that’s all.

Oh, the category “Flash Fiction” is specifically for very, very short pieces.

Flash fiction, eh? I’ve never dared put anything in under that category because I didn’t exactly know what I would be getting myself into then ;p You think it would work with this?

Oh, certainly.  That’s where I see most 6 word stories.

Oh, I’m not going for the win. I just thought there were so many serious attempt out there that a lighter one was needed ;D

Why, thank you (; It’s meant for chuckles, actually. Sometimes people seem to get it wrong because they don’t think it’s head over heels funny or satiric for that matter. But a piece meant to make you chuckle – I really do not know where else to put that ;p

Why, thank you (: But to be truthful to my biggest vice of all, it has to remain unwritten. My biggest problem is that I walk around and finish up all stories and tie all loose ends, but never get around to putting it down on paper. So in reality, besides being a try-out for a lighter, more witty six word memoir, this is really a scare campaign towards myself ;P

People are bound to disagree on the format, which is perfectly okay, but I like how you’ve written it because you have two syllables in the first line prior to the colon, and the same thing in the second line, so it gives it really nice balance.

If it’s any consolation, I did in fact get your attempt to lampoon (what a nice word, too seldom used in my world). I suppose this was my attempt at the exact same. This memoir thing has taken over urbis (oh my!), and of course, being me, I just had to go all double standards on myself and write one of my own ;p

By the way, I severely recommend checking out the poetry of this CharlesB. The bloke writes some terrific stuff.

I know. He’s already been favourited by me once or twice or thrice. Both for individual pieces and as a writer. I’ve been on urbis earlier, a long time ago, where he was a favourite of mine as well. I just love his pieces! He writes like the classics did, you know? I’ve never seen poetry like that in this present day and age, so I’m very psyched (;
