Poetry / Reunion
A satire, of secrets unleashed.
Gently flourishing into organic sincerer smiles.
Moving us backwards through time,
ghost hands entwined.
Reliving feelings we had long forgot.
I watched the language of your eyes unfold,
Peeling back inner layers of a bud.
I was again in your domed galaxy,
starring straight back at me,
time collapsed as are our lips touched.
For a moment only lushness matters,
closing eyes – to cut all ties.
Unhinging windows to all possibilities,
Fingers connect-blood mingles.
I am a dear, pushing through the cooper coils
of your hair, as if they were branches to a river.
A Moon slides around the curve of your neck,
Flowing through a thick perfumed forest.
Tiny white stallions filter on the currents pull.
While we search experience for a purer existence.
Time spins its unwavering web, of night and day.
Were moments become hours.
Moons become stretched.
Cityscapes form in the blind spots of lust.
Mechanical birds rip down the dawn,
Its shards minuet among the river.
We dance ghostly –spared by love,
Parting in progresses tattered robes

“am a dear, pushing through the cooper coils
of your hair, as if they were branches to a river.” I love this line. The copper coils. Lovely description. The branches of the river, very nice. I love the progression of time and how your words flow in this poem. Some people know how to say things so beautifully and you are one of them. i loved the ghostly hands line. Your poetry is soft and it has wonderful visuals that takes the reader away to another place. I love your work. I can’t ask you to fix anything and this will probably earn me a zero vote from other reviewers but i don’t care. I like what i like. I think changing it would ruin its essence. Sandi
