Poetry / Lullaby
this world,
it echoes in the absence of brightness.
the stars don't shine enough,
the moon fades behind the sun,
all thats left are shades of black to comfort my touched up scars.
the glow of love doesn't reach me here,
with in my nightmares of forgotten times,
with the night comes the nightingale,
or so I am told,
I yearn for a song that will make me whole for a while,
sing for me,
please sing for me.
the night blushes all too soon,
please don't stop singing,
I need your song,
my nightingale.
the day is too strong,
too strong for me,
I need the peace of obscurity,
I need strength to face this world.
my heart distorts and becomes nothing,
a ghost that was once something appears in the form of music,
in the form of darkness,
sing for me,
please sing for me.
my nightmares are too much,
too much for me,
I need something to make it through,
to make it through the harsh revival of morning,
sing for me,
please sing for me,
I'll float past another day,
to feel my heart beating again inside your womb,
my nightingale,
my beautiful new moon light,
sing for me,
please sing for me.
