I think one of the hardest things to write about, is yourself. Explaining who you are, gets mixed up with who you would like to be. People get too wrapped up, in describing what their label is and what it means. Rather than just being who they are. Makes you realize just how similar people really are, especially when they act like their so different. Honestly, we all just want to be loved, respected, and in control of our own lives.

I’ve often found my self frusterated with the whole cult of people who all try too hard to stand out and be different and in the end fail because thats what everyone else is doing.

Well I liked it,but why not writing about yourself…I mean thats what it is about right?
What you have written is very true. We all struggle with who we are and who we really want to be.
You make a very valid point.
Besides having several petty surface issues, I believe you spit your point across the paper; however, who doesn’t think this way each day? Is there a better angle/hook you can use to make it sound different from the rest? If I want to hear blah, I’ll listen to the newest Rapper.
