Poetry / I Thought Diamonds Were Forever

Because your face is frozen, an eternal stamp of Sunlight.
And the radiance, it’s just as stubborn:
A purity that rejects contamination,
A brilliance with an ego.
Equal in its silence. Enticing in its doubt.

Because you sing in riddles, a Rubik’s Cube painted black.
And your thoughts, they’re concealed in ink:
With subtle harmony. With eloquent simplicity.
Blueprints, entreating patient examination;
Defying the laws of physics, maybe.

Because you’re a Diamond, luminous and rigid,
Captivating all in nonchalance.
But your attentions shall not be lured.
For no gem but glass can possibly compare,
And none may boast of lemons enough
To tempt you.

Very unique.  Has a good flow and good imagery.  I feel it has potential.

Watch the words ‘the’ ‘and’ ‘a’

I think this is the type of poem suited for longer formatting.
