Such a warm and sunny day
the nicest one this year

to bad you are so far away
instead of with me here

the sky is blue and oh so clear
that you can see for miles

but what i would much rather see
is both of us with smiles

i can smile without you babe
but it dont quite feel the same

i know you  smile without me
just try to drop the blame

aint all my fault but that dont matter
cuz you place it all on me

what a shame you never noticed
or cared to even see

but deep inside where it hurts
you know what you did wrong

I lift my head and look about
and as I dry a tear

on such a warm and sunny day
it is the nicest one this year

to bad you are so far away
instead of with me here
