Started off well, I thought it was clever in spite of the profanity which was a bit overused. You could have reserved it for the places where it would have really shined and made a make but by over using it, the oaths were watered down.
I assume they are lyrics which are spoken or rapped rather than sung and as such they are very powerful. I wanted the message though to be a bit clearer – I felt you ended up in a place where you didn’t start – you ended up talking about how it was your time to shine although you started off telling me about the stuff your father used to tell you. I really wanted to know whether your thought the wisdom of your father was bullshit or whether it was good and you lived by it. I would have been interesting in your opinion on that.
All in all good but it wouldn’t warm my heart!

well i gave you the highest mark in “talent” cause it seems you are creative and could be a very good song writer..i see this in your clever rhymes, godzilla/mozzilla, robocops/cocopops..but even though you mention..”don’t mind the f word etc. i think it turns off the reader as soon as they see it..(esepcially in the general public of writers..it could be a rap song, and there are songs..(alot)..in that field..(already) written like that, that they may like..but again, even those companies have seen this type of songs many times over..it’s gone from shock/to turnoff..i would suggest you find another theme, as i said and really mean it..you have talent..use it in a more contructive way..in love/or sending a message etc. ok, i yapped enough,hope i helped more than hurt…jim
