Young Adult / What happened to Kaitlyn?

WIth no one there, she felt like trash. Nobody but her computer, and herself. What could she do? The world on the internet had been a better place for her. When her brother was 14 and she was 10 her brother got sick. Terribly sick. Attention went away from her to her brother. She felt departed from her father. Her father was pretty much all she thought she had.

Now she's 15, already screwed up.Begging for the attention her brother got she focused on the internet. Strolling chat rooms waiting and watching. Impatient. Waiting watching. Getting messages from the lurkers. That's what she waited for, someone to make her feel better, not like the bad child.

Kaitlyn lay at her bed scrolling through chat logs on her laptop. 5 years she though 5 long years. She waited in her room for her father to get home, 11:00 PM already. She waited, sitting in the dark, The screen glowing a flickering from messages in front of her. Who am I? she thought grabbing the house phone near by and checking the messages. She felt alone. The voice chat on her computer rang, A call from a guy that she's been talking to for several weeks now. She felt like he cared.

"What do you want?" She smiled laughing at him. "It's too late."
"Nothing important, really just calling." His deep voice comforted her, reminding her of her father. "What's up?"
"Father's not home again. Bored. Alone. Yuck." she shivered at the word alone.
"I can come over then? It sounds like you need some company..." Laughing a little bit she grinned. "Come on, We'll make it fun."
"Fun...." She whispered "Sure!" I careless rush went through her body and she smiled.
"Where to?" He asked her, his laughing warming her through the speakers.
"Where?" She repeated, "Oh! my house!" she frantically told him her address.

An hour passed by before the bell rang, her bones chilled and she slowly walked down the stairs leading to the foyer of her house. looking through the window at the top of the door, The guy was about 19, his name was Eric.

"Eric?" She said through the door, "Is that you?"
"Mhm." He said back, He smiled up at her looking up at the window.

She grinned and opened up the door, she thought that she saw a glow behind him, Just a street light.

"Hey!" he said " 12:30 AM. Kinda late huh?"
"Yeah," kaitlyn said softly smiling and letting him in.
" So you're dad's not here huh?" He said, "Well, I'm sure i can take care of you."

A few minutes later they were sitting in her room dancing around. It made her feel loved. As 1:00 AM came by she was laying down, her black hair spread against her pillow, looking up at eric sitting next to her. an hour passed and he was laying next to her smiling, looking at her up and down as she watched a movie on her laptop.

a few moments later the movie was over they sat in complete silence and darkness just laughing. Kaitlyn closed her eyes and a pressure went quickly around her throat and she gasped for air, squirming as her eyed opened her eyes. "Eric" She gasped trying to scream as she looked up at him pressing down on her throat with his hand and he put his hand on her hip. she wiggles around trying to force herself out from his body but he was too strong an her t-shirt restricted her from going anywhere. she slowly drifted into unconsciousness.

hours later she awoke, pain going though her body in pain and she was covered by a warm blanket. what happened? she thought. she could feel tears going down her face,...What happened to Kaitlyn?
