Action Adventure / Strange Things Happen Ch. 2/ Ch 3
CJ drove into the parking lot and saw Rebecca passing him.He turned off the engine and got out quickly.
"Hey Rebecca,"he said catching up to her
"Oh hey CJ,"she replied smiling as she tossed her long brown hair over shoulder."How are you?"
"I'm great,"he said looking around.This was his chance.They had a few minutes until the bell which was enough time to ask her."Can I ask..."
"Hey Rebecca,"Nathan approached them just as he did in the vision."Can I ask you something?"
"Hold on Nathan,"Rebecca said not taking her eyes off of CJ."What were you asking?"
CJ gulped then asked,"Would you like to go out sometime?"
Nathan slipped away from them sighing."I thought this was my chance,"he mumbled.
Rebecca didn't pay any attention to Nathan."Can I get back to you,"she asked."I have to hurry up and get to class."
"Yeah sure,"CJ muttered smiling somewhat.
Rebecca smiled back and turned down a hallway."See ya."
CJ waved back as he continued down the hallway.
Chapter 3
Matthew Masters was kind of the go-to guy of Southern California High School. Ever since CJ met him in the 7th grade,Matt has been the one to help him get used to his developing powers. Even though he didn't have powers like CJ Matt helped him with the changes by researching what was happening to him.
As CJ walked further down the hallways,a thought entered his head. He knew who it was automatically that it was Matt because the thought didn't say anything; it just laughed.
"Hello Matt,"he said not turning around.
"You catch me every time,"he said as he started walking beside him.
"Well Matt,"CJ started,"your thoughts are very weird."
"How so?"
"You laughed,"he said. "You will sometimes laugh for no reason."
"Au Contraire my friend,"Matt said with a small laugh. "I just saw you with Rebecca." "So."
"Face it CJ," he said,"I heard the whole thing. 'Can I get back you?' is girl speak for 'give me some time to figure out how to let you down easy'."
"Is that so,"CJ asked looking over at him. "Last time I figured,'Can I get back to you?' means exactly 'Can I get back to you?'.
"Alright you keep thinking that,"Matt said turning to a locker.
CJ did the same across the hall and pulled out his Trig book.They walked down the hallways and turned into a classroom just as the bell rang.

The overall pull is missing from this piece. The writing is overdone. You don’t need to describe each sentence with what they are doing, we get it let the words they speak come across to us, and give a few descriptions that are pertinent.
It overall feels like a rough draft and is to thin to really immerse myself as a reader.
