Poetry / Hush

Well thank you side. I wrote this because I wanted to take part in that different world. While at a younger age, we find ourselves believing stories about a great world that we’ll one day be apart of, but like myself, I didn’t find that great world. I somewhat wish to find myself in that state again. Where all my wildest fears can be whipped away by a smile, or the fears can be turned upside down by my mother’s kiss. It’s times like these that remind me of being told about how serene life could be, and then being thrown into a completely different world. It’s like looking back and feeling that you’ve been lied to. The “all you have is me part” was meant to keep the flow of the poem going. In the perfect world, this serene being, that nothing can disrupt, you have you’re protector. I never had that protector when I grew up, and it’s nice to have thought that’s what a mother would say to her child… I don’t know… perhaps i’m crazy?

Theres nothing crazy about dreaming and delving into the “what ifs” or “how it must be likes”.

But I’m sure everyone feels the lack of that special something and hope for everything you’ve written in this poem.
