Poetry / A Thousand Nowhere Nights
“A Thousand Nowhere Nights”
One breath, a moan, and all repeats again.
Fighting to hold our own, the fates divide our endings.
Twisting my paths and reinventing familiar circles.
Wandering the same streets repaved.
Searching for a flaw in this prison that promises opportunity.
He meant nothing by all I was meant to be.
He is a shadow of a reflection of me.
Not attainable, but almost visible to a keen eye.
All will be better after these thousand nowhere nights.
Although a question still remains.
If I never break this cycle,
Will it all be the same?

Relationships are hard on everyone. We all start to question what fate hold for us and when it ends and when it starts over.
Fantasy plays a huge role in our lives…will it get better today? Are we going to fight today? Is she going to get mad at me and hang up because I forgot it was her dogs’ birthday today? Does she really love me?
Prison is what you make of it little brother. Opportunity comes all the time it’s rather or not you strong enough to take it that determines if were adults or not.
Shadows are the suns reflection of the man not who we think we are. Your work shows great insight and this work is the best work I have seen to date.
