Poetry / ELLA!
Sing it right.
Swaying and sliding,
Lilting and light, your voice,
And I’m smiling with you-
-Ella’s got my soul.
She’s yanking my chain.
Giggling as the trumpet plays
-Mimics its golden hue…
Almost keeping up-
-And then she hits some joy
And I’m on cloud 9 again,
Fly on wispy notesy grooves
Fitz you got me in the mood,
Tapin’ and snappin’
Keepin’ time, hummin’ loud,
And I’m sure I’m being rude,
But the sunshine you’re layin’ down-
-Brightly stops the critic’s fued,
Along with my freshly brewed,
Oh baby, you’re a 100% muse!

i don’t believe you are rude at all
and i am no one to critique a published dude.
just like the the Beloved Miss Ella Fitz, you play with your words.
scat dancing around the issue until the painting is finished.
i have no complaints, only compliments.
