Poetry / Revel Grey
Revel Grey was my new day,
a continuity of change.
All derangements rearranged,
now we’ve come up with a name.
The name seeps in and leaves a stain.
With it comes a half formed face,
turned still, cold, blue in my disgrace.
Praise Grey and Revel blue,
as a dance performed for losing you.
Raising and praising my grey mood,
until I’ve had a taste,
enough to make me chase,
for a new Grey,
but all I find are different shades.
