Like all things
Texas is good and Bad
Of course at this point
My knowledge of Texas is limited
to San Antonio
This city is odd to me
It is a city that thinks it’s a small town
This is both
charming
and disturbing
sometimes this city is like
riding into the sunset
in a convertible Caddie
the top is down
and I just smoked a fatty
yet
sometimes this city is like
a scorpion in my ass
one thing for sure
Texans love neon
the whole city appears as a neon desert
with bright glowing franchises
popping up like cactus

A gritty and cowboylike description of a place I have read much about and know that the current Scorpion in the world´s ass (great line that) grew up there (I think, correct me if I´m wrong)
The overall image is as brutal as it sounds, a neon hell hole.
The pace is good throughout too.
Good work

bright glowing franchises
nice
The last line…maybe ‘cacti’ instead?
I don’t want to call this an intro, but I can easily see a fake travelogue piece following it.
