Poetry / Perfection Falls to Grace
Oh rage does taint me to perfection
Twisted to designs of life
Manipulates me to edge of reason
To dangle hollow from whistless trees
Of anger I do betray myself
Relentless to obessive conclusions
Doubting of mistrustful explanation
You are a liar, plain as day
Regretfully I do not apologies
Shame on you for expections so
Hold back your emotions
For I do not deserve your envy
Could we simply compile lists?
Of everyday items that may hold desire
Simple in their being,
uncomplicated by the years
From past dear rage I watch you
From present dear friend I wait
In future, my dreams I hate you
All loving and anger spent

I normally don’t like poetry. However, this poem struck a chord with me.
I like the worldplay you used. The opening kept me hooked and I HAD to finish.
The only thing I noticed was a simple spelling error:
“apologies”

Nice flow, great word usage. The anger in this piece shows up well. You portrayed that very well in this piece without sounding dramatic or “over the top”. Nice work.
smiles Nice, very nice. How you address your own feelings as living things especially. Very nice.
