Poetry / Lady
What it is to be a lady…
It is, this walking illusion that begs to be grasped by another’s eye, caught inside a vortex of beauty, no words have to be spoken, for cause and effect and still…
A lady of wisdom, power beyond what is imagined, tempermental at times due to being seen as second class,
It is, more than enjoyment for that pleasure seeking manliness that believes control is his, care to re-think that one, and still…
This walking illusion that so many want to grasp between tongue tied thoughts, underneath the weight of sexual innuendo, ejaculated nonsense for the score in life, this lady is still…
Mind, soul, body, creation within SHE….and still…
Respect is given, half assed, in jest, meant for a particular moment…
This lady, you see, has always been, whether you see her, speak of her, love her, despise her, use her, throw her away…
This lady…is still

I like this one. It really captures what a woman truly is, which is more than someone to have sex with. There are very few poems out there like this, so Its very gratifying to know that somebody actually respects women!
all in all a good poem
