Although I think it is trying hard to say something I stumble upon the first two stanza’s that don’t seem to go with this piece at all.

After that I like your words, the feeling and flow of this piece.

“Your breath has been stolen” and you have breathe  just a small typo

I enjoyed the quick jaunt with “time”

Overall nice piece if I can get over the beginning.

I have no idea why you titled this “Search Engine”. I expected something entirely different, and nothing in the poem enlightened me about it. I guess I thought it’d be something about the internet or modernism but it didn’t.

I have to say, this poem is not for me. I can’t see anything to change except “breathe” should be “breath”. It’s not a bad poem, I just didn’t connect with it.

The poem is about getting lost in a materialistic world and trying to find happiness outside oneself. But it is hard to turn inward when you are ridden with shame and guilt and most people never realize that the void cannot be filled by man made machines/engines/instruments. The search is eternal for alot of us, due to being blinded by self will. That is why  it is referred to the road less traveled. Thank you for the review.
