Poetry / confrontation

to night i heard a prayer
                something riddled with hidden
                         meaning

“i could ask
you wouldnt tell (does it matter-
              no it dont)
  i could yell you
             wont speak
Something open for discussion      and       discomfort
     seams so bleak that only
               nothing sounds so furiously
to make a deaf man’s mind bleed
do not taste the fouler liquids
the one you poison ever deep
until your brain starts oozing liquids
and your mind begins to seep
our children see the difference
and our parents see the truth
but will you ever only see
     My everlasting love
              for you
help him to understand
that what they say it isnt due
           that although my love is
hard for him to comprehend just doesnt
  make it un-true
leave me be
    R.I.P.
and to night maybe ill sleep
amen”

so with discomfort in my calculator
adding 777 to your simple 666
and maybe one more dream is all you
need to understand the true face
     behind these deeds
[if only you could show your mind
out in the deep pockets of space
the greed and i love i once showed you
                                might ease your weary plane
and grip you when the wind blows
and hold you tightly when it snows
and when its heated save your
                                breathe cause ill still it
when the stars begin to glow
                                  so finish your prayer
                                            my dreary wife
and lay your tired life upon Your bed
and when the final act is over
your queer audience might find you dead]

and she slept
and he slept
the children wept
the parents crept
and all they ever saw in the room
     was a perfect confrontation
