Well, Sweet Heart

I’ll have you know
You bring out the best in me
You keep me right on top of my game
Right where I need to be
You manage to make me want to stay
Yet still make me feel free
I cannot give you thanks enough
For letting me be me
Or explain the way I feel
Awakening with you to see
I know we’ve both been hurt before
I share your empathy
One day, the Lord will show us what for
When we find our destiny
I feel, you stimulate my mind
Which means a lot to me
Something I can rarely find
In humans, a dying breed

Through time and space the world turns
As are seasons changed
We are the kind to make the most
Of whatever God has arranged

Nice work, I really loved it! It was very sweet, a sort of love letter, I’m guessing. It is positive yet emotional and deep. It describes two people who are the same and, from the looks of this, meant to be together. I really did like it, you have a way with words. Great work!

Talk about hitting the nail on the head… It was most definitely a love letter, and it just happened to come out like a poem, so I just went with it, and ended up with one of my true favorites.
We were meant to be together, but he was weak in the end, and it didn’t work, but he was IT for a long time.
Thank you very much, I take great pride in my never ending saga to find the perfect words to describe things, emotions, events… I will rarely show anything that I do not feel is “done” or “ready” yet, even if it takes years.
