Reading it as an ode to twinkie’s, it’s fun.  I recently wrote something similar about a candy.  You say in the notes it’s deep, so it really depends on what the ‘twinkie’ represents.  Love, body part, person of particular origin.  I guess it could be almost anything.

Uh…ya, sure…way too deep. Really for this piece I need to know your intents. Were you just, err…devoting your love to Twinkies, or did you have something else entirely in mind- something deeper. Your title makes me think that you were referring to how the best things in life are often simple…am I right?

This kinda reminds me of how people like Jewel, Ani Difranco, and Fiona Apple (singers), who have already proved themselves to be unique and creative artists, can simply make their next album title “Blue Cucumber,” because they were eating cucumbers on a blue plate at the time they were writing songs, and people will think it’s some kind of grand ingenious metaphorical achievement.

Depending on what exactly you were going for, this poem could either be great, or just average.

Ah Twinkies. The vanilla man’s Ho Ho. Don’t those things stay preserved for like 50 years without decaying? Nice “Haiku”.

I liked this haiku a lot, its got this simplistic feel to it, but its something I can totally identify with.  It does make me a bit hungry for twinkies as well hahaha :P  Nice

Oh, I think I have fallen in love.  Darling Twinkie! I take thee to be my lawfully wedded wife.

And they lived happily ever after!

Great haiku.
