Poetry / The Damn, Harsh Truth
So damn annoying, so damn inconsiderate, always loud, always persists—
I love her, of course, but not like this.
I wish she would learn some damn respect,
I wish she would notice her damn reflection:
She’s made so many damn mistakes,
so many flaws, so many fakes.
She doesn’t really seem to try,
But only see her mistakes and cry.
She seems to drink more and more,
Never stopping, never sure—
Of what she has in front of her,
Of the life she to live, of the time she has been given.
If only she’d take a damn chance, and know she has time, too.
She thinks I’m opinionated? She thinks I’m rude?
God dammit, woman, look at you!

Damn fine work !!! I could feel your emotions by just these few words. This should be read by millions. We can all learn so much from other’s suffering. I rate a poem on its content and not really how it is written, how it makes me feel and the emotions it evokes in me. I’ll say it again – DAMN fine work
