Poetry / Liars And Their Lies
Frustration out of place
Or the exact location
Think too hard and see
Don’t know about this
Not so sure what I know
Things seem so unaware
Further I jump
Harder I fall
A hole gaping wide
Leave me in panic
The stream runs dry
The life decays again
Another one lost
Caught too far involved
Mind plays all the cards
A full house
Only if the joker permits
Further I run
Faster I fall
In the end we all crawl
Unaware of the horrors
My life not all that bad
Blood still boils over
Sickening thoughts relived
This life in shatterd glass
Not some stupid cliche
A tale of two halves
The joy and enlightenment
Destroyed by the hatred
And the forever endangerment
Take this knife from me
Throw it to the ground
Watch the life unfound
The worm crawls into flesh
An excuse to stop the itch

Powerful words. It’s not a topic I like to read about in poetry because of my extreme paranoia. Since these feelings are relatively common in me, it’s easier for me to skim across this and NOT get really into it. But that’s more a personal thing than any criticism to this peice… other than it doesn’t taylor to absolutely everyone. Maybe not as powerfully to the extremely paranoid individual.
