You are one of the only persons that got it right, you are on my track completely. Thanks.
Lyrics / IN OUR PRIME
Staying out
drinking wine.
Pumping music
lets take a line.
It started friday
around about six.
Baby sitters sorted
we drop off our kids.
See you later
the chosen phrase.
Little did our mums know
they wouldn’t see us for days.
The butterflies in our stomaches
kept on growing.
ourfuelled horizons ahead,
no red lights
no slowing.
The weekend
when will it end
nobody knew and
nobody cared.
Our clothes,
our money,
our blokes.
We shared
No expense spared
but wasn’t prepared.

I remember my sisters leaving us with the kids, I was the babysitter, I suppose you were too, thats what happens you join the cycle dont you!! I like the bit about the handbag, I still do this all the time, not with my handbag of course buy my mobile phone.
You know what, its funny, because I feel like I am in my prime now even though I am knocking on a bit (not too much!!)

Hey this was fun! I really liked it. There was some wording I didn’t get but I tend to be pretty thick headed so i’m sure its not you. Maybe i need to learn some new lingo. Anyhoo, I think my favorite part was
“The butterflies
in our stomaches
kept on growing.
Our fuelled horizons,
no red lights
no slowing….”
I remember this when I was younger. I’ve gotten boring now. The rythm was kind of fun and frenzied just like a young person that doesn’t care feels. Nice reflection. L
This is good, but sometimes it rhymed and sometimes it was just everywhere, if you know what I mean. I like the line “I cry, I’m sitting on it!” because it added some humor to it. Good job
Reminds me of a couple weekends i’ve spent just dicking around. I could almost feel the wind blowing through my hair with the window rolled down as we cruised down the road headed for no place in particular. Reminds me of the good times when nothing mattered except having a good time.
