Non-fiction / Where Have They Gone?
Acceptance. Like a napkin she’s flown into the wind, to a different location, so that those who once held her can never grasp her and inhibit her escape. Along with Acceptance trails Self-Esteem, for he and she go hand-in-hand. So many are they who lose them, so many are they who allow them to get caught in the updraft of cruel jokes and obscene gestures. So many of us are Acceptance; so many of us are Self-Esteem; offering aid and any support we can in order that others be saved. Our lives depend on them and yet we take them for granted the most. Without Acceptance, Self-Esteem cannot stand. Without Self-Esteem, Acceptance cannot exist. Both live for the other, both die with the other, because life is a slap in the face and we all tend to get hurt.

This is a good topic, however there is one confusing part. You say that we are those two things and that we offer aid to those that need it, and then you say that we take them for granted. Anyways, if you want to put this in a book, I would suggest taking it further, maybe write some personal experiences in it, or data about others that have problems with it, something to make it more tangible. Good luck and keep writing.
