Poetry / Adam & Eve
Adam & Eve
Come walk with me in the garden
Through the yellow petals of daffodil
You can be Eve and this our Eden
And sit and gaze down from the hill
We will watch the birds pass us by
On their way to a foreign land
Shadows of sun in the deep blue sky
Yellowed sunbeams of deserting sand
Washed down by a great white waves
Slowly wearing the rocky rugged coast
In and out of dark hollow caves
Echoed winds make the sound of a ghost
I will be Adam, you’re my Eve
This is our world; it’s too good to leave.

It really wasn’t an apple. It was a fruit off the tree of knowledge.
can’t say,”a great white waves” isn’t grammatically correct.
Are the two people in this poem parallel to the real Adam and Eve in that they are in the nude and alone with only nature as their companions?
This is quite romantic and is quite uplifting to the soul.

Beautifully written! I personally enjoyed it because it is just as it is: beautiful! And to answer the question stated in your note: “Yes Eve did take a bite from the apple.” Best wishes to your future work! =-)
