Did you know peace is trapped in the crosshairs of a gun?
A gun aimed to destroy all that is different,
all they dissagree with.
A gun used to silence those who might stand up and fight to free the peace from oppression,
the oppression of violence that has so long restrained it.

Did you know freedom is in the schoolbook?
The knowledge that empowers the people to think for themselves.
This true freedom, the freedom of the mind, is the government’s greatest fear,
for if the people think, then they can question,
And when they question, they’ll want answers.

Did you know the future is in our most valuable resource, the youth?
The same youth that are sent to die by those to old to fight,
those that fear change and do nothing to change it.
Why should we fight their battles?
Let the war pigs fight and die if they so desire,
but we, the future, will not.
We will live and make a change.
Why?
Because we know.
