I’m such a fuckin pansy ,
I’m lost finding myself wearing panties .
Reminding myself of what can’t be ,
Dreaming in my shanti .
Panting wearily
Eyes tearily deceiving ,
believing tears to be relieving .
Darkly wondering what’s worth retrieving .
Striving for surviving ,
Lying ,
Selling my time belying ,
disconnection .
Protection , perplexion .
Pretension , insurrection ,
blessing reflection , measuring
redemption ,
Wishing intention ,
Bending submission .
Simply stating ,
Lack of relating ,
To this world .
And all of you here ,
But not fearing ,
Any one of you .
It’s true .
I have no lie in me .
Only the gift ,
of flying free .
Troubled but not forsaken ,
Come to awaken ,
by presence not taken ,
But given .
Given to ,
Letting you take .
Lying awake as you ,
Move within ,
Your clues .
Doing as you choose .
As if you have nothing to lose .
This coffin has gotten ,
SO BIG .
It doesn’t even feel cozy anymore ,
and what’s more ?
I implore exploration .
As an ex-patriot in damnation .
Damn-nation !
Invading to
persuade
for cheaper oil !
I toil ,
Day-to-day ,
just to find a way to
eat ,
pay bills ,
have a thrill ,
to be defeat-ed .
Life is cheapened .
this way .
So I pray .
And so should you !

Noah! Not particularly one of my favorite of yours, but it made me smile nonetheless, as far as empathazing with a drab day-to-day grind. You rhymed a bit TOO much for me in this piece. It became too repetitive and I had to forcingly read-on.

It jus became too much for me at this point.
The end was swell, on the otherhand, short sweet and effective.
