Sometimes you don’t “really” know a person until after you have been friends for awhile.
Journal, Diary, & Blogging / Friends?
I really hate people who are fake. People who laugh at everything you say even if they don’t find it funny just because they want to be “in” with you. They have to be who they think you want them to be in order for you to like them. What kind of friendship is that?
People who are two-faced and want to be your friend until you turn your back and then they talk about you to their “real” friends. That really pisses me off. Get a life already!
People who are constantly showing off what they have or bragging about all the money they spend on a regular basis.Who cares? All you’re telling me is that you think you’re better than me. If you’ve got that much to spend, go out and buy yourself some friends! (I’m sure you could find plenty)
People who lie. This pisses me off the most. You don’t have to lie to me to be my friend.
People who use you to get things they want. ”Sure, i’ll be your friend if you…............” it’s a bunch of crap.
I don’t understand why people just can’t be themselves. I’m a pretty open-minded and friendly person. I have all sorts of friends and don’t discriminate against anyone intentionally.
I’m not perfect and I don’t expect my friends to be either. I do expect to be respected though.

This makes me think about what my mom always said to me growing up. You can count your true friends on one hand and leave three fingers out. Of course then I would laugh at her but now I realize she was right.
good rant.

You gave some good examples of things that irritate a lot of people. i think this blog would be better if you could give some personal examples or stories.
i wonder if you could laythis out a bit differently so you start with a kind of title – People I hate – or something like that, then 1, 2, 3, 4 … for each type of person. It would make it look and read quite punchily
Ok, I can’t help it but I keep going back to this sentence “You don’t have to lie to me to be my friend,” and adding “but it helps,” to the end which goes right against what you’re saying.
The people you talk about, if you feel so strongly, it begs the question how did they become friends in the first place?#
Good rant though
I agree. There’s something you need to remember though; most people have insecurities and sometimes don’t handle it in the best way, ie, by overcompensating. So next time you bump into someone like that, remember, they’re probably trying to deflect something about themselves they don’t want you to know. There is always an exception though; when it’s someone you care about, sharing their success. I like you, hate fake people and people who lie. I think they saying is; if you do it once, shame on you, if you do it twice, shame on me. Cut them out of your life immeadiately. Life’s too short! :)
