Poetry / Everyone's gone digital
Everyone’s gone digital
pointing fingers and cannons,
victims shell shocked and hysterical.
Everyone beats up buttons,
yoga on sunday
kenko on monday
thai boxing their over-rotten-drafts to pulp.
It doesn’t really begin to help;
jellied eels for breakfast
jellied emotions for tea.
Give me cereal
give me cushions
give me lazy shaded tented days and
ladies content
with spineless gentlemen,
no wars and no ambition.
