Poetry / Confused Apple
A light thud hits the slumbering girl.
She wakes up, startled.
Looking for some form of life,
All she sees are empty trees.
The sky is a painting
With sophisticated blendings of pink, orange, and yellow.
The cool autumn’s wind runs past her,
Making the branches above creak.
A single leaf falls gracefully
As it twirls, flips, and sways.
It lands with a faint tap.
She stares, not wanting to think much of anything.
Her hand slowly goes to pick up the crumpled leaf
But comes across something waxy.
Her eyes grow larger with warmth and comfort
As she stares at the familiar object.
This apple is multicolored,
As if it can’t make up its mind.
She stands with the apple firmly in her hand.
It is time to go home.

Well, I understand where your coming from. & I will say for the age, the words you chose and the thoughts you gave were very amazing. The poem was a little choppy and didnt keep me pulled in. I began to get a little bored, but as far as the aspect as far as the meaning it was good, I just wish it had a little more structure, I wish it built up till you got to the end… and than when I go to the end I was just like oh.. that stinks. I wish it had a more exciting ending or something that made you say aww or wow. That would be my only thought.

Hello my lovely… This review will actually make sense, I promise.
I love the apple. I do, I do. It’s symbolic, isn’t it. Of sea turtles. He came up, out of nowhere.
Then… ker-plunk! He’s there. You don’t know what hit you. So you look around. What the heck? Oh, it’s an “apple”, a sea turtle. “Hello.” No surprise, you probably knew all along something like that would happen.
That apple stops you for a moment, and then… You decide to continue on your journey. Get up and do something, but with a sea turtle, this time.
Whether or not you meant it that way, it’s lovely.
