Lyrics / TALE OF GOOD AND EVIL

I’m a big fan of rhyming and your piece was cleverly rhymed – but not just for the sake of rhyme- you also developed your idea and did it quite well.  

I’m curious as to what type of lyric this is?  What genre of song?

My only criticism is that when I first began reading I pictured this as a heavy metal song and expected to be taken on a journey with some of those ‘mystical creatures’ that you mention but they were kind of left behind for a more judgment day theme.

There wasn’t a specific antagonist unless, of course, the intended antagonist was greed.

Overall I enjoyed reading it and think it would make a fine song!

With eyes on The Lamb
Our Holy One
His judgment is coming
Nowhere to run

These words, although most of us know the truth that they hold, are like a “wake-up” call…a voice saying “THIS IS IT, NOT ONLY SPOKEN, BUT WRITTEN IN STONE… READ ALOUD AND TAKE HEED!!”  I love it!
