Poetry / Not A Soldier, Just A Man
forever your eyes will haunt the battleground
as you watched me fall without a sound
the beating tremble that brought us all to this
the questions that we answered with questions
i thought?
i believed!
in your loving kiss…
never again will i fall…
i`ll not fight for hearts and hands
as one tends to bleed the other
and choke the breath that breathes that feeds the damned
in cases we sometimes tend to suffer
burning desire to burn
dying urges to cut this safty mechanism
and watch the hesitation crumble
as i slowly stumble upon the urgency
of fondling the future that belongs to your eyes
the same eyes that forever corrupt my happy wishes
forever haunt my heart
forever your eyes will haunt the battleground
as we slowly fought apart
my courage blackned by your burning smile
your desire to fuck on the toilet floor
left me wanting ?
am i afraid to answer ! to free the weak and wicked
am i unafraid of questions ? that question myself
your loving lips with their smile
that shattered hearts
that took the ocean over
that fought us apart
your haunted eyes with their look of angels
that took away the sunshine
that stole my cause
that bled all over darkness
thats left me on all fours

Although I cannot say I can empathize with the piece, the least advice I can give is for you to revise your work more. It’s a good poem over all. Most of the imagery is pretty good.
