This is pretty nice. I think it’s a good summary of our thoughts on “goodbyes”. Keep writing.

Suggestion, reword some of these parts to something along these lines-

“Often there are…”

“Occasionally there are…”

and

“Rarely are there…”

Overall, I will say you had a good seed idea for this quote. I good concept that went into it, no doubt in my mind. The execution, though, is greatly lacking. For example, examining what you have to say, I come up with: We often have to say goodbye; occasionally we want to, but it’s rare that we don’t want to. That last part is the piece that confuses e. It is rare that we don’t want to say goodbye? I am not sure whether you are pessimistic, or perhaps the quote has it’s roots in cynicism (the belief solely in one’s self; check Wikipedia for the greek interpretation), or if you merely typed it up in such a way that it did not accurately portray your thoughts, or what.

The quote simply doesn’t seem fitting to me. Beyond my personal opinion though, structurally speaking, I would change the periods into commas or semi-colons. This way, the quote flows as one piece rather than being “so-and-so-and-so-and-so” with an abrupt STOP. thrice in the middle of the idea. You’re 15, so I sympathize with you putting this quote out there; keep it up. Post more stuff. Stories, quotes, ideas, whatever. Just keep it up, man.

I like this, rather obvious but very sweet. Keep up the good work.

I like this quote. It’s very clear and explains a lot about life. Moments slip by so fast and in retrospect it’s hard to imagine they were real. Even things that seem bad at the time can change as you look back.
