I’ve found it much less excrutiating to just go ahead and break them all open with my fingers instead of biting them…just so that “one”...won’t taste like crap when I finally find it…

I’ve never tasted ass flavored chocolate before, so I can’t relate to this quote. I also can’t tell whether this quote is about life or about finding someone to love. Life is an experience, not something you have to search for.

I am sorry to hear you know what ass tastes like. That’s why you spit out the bad pieces that way they don’t consume you. If your goals are not worth the trouble you go through to get there, then I suggest that you re-evaluate your prioraties.

Interesting. Kind of a negative conotation of the whole not knowing what your going to get in life. I don’t really like it all that much, it doesn’t really hyold any of the magic that the first version of the quote does.

A box of chocolate is like a box of wood or rubber-it has no pieces.
And it’s not too much trouble to smash 10 candies to get a carmel-which then is worth it for sure!

Heh, I got a little chuckle out of this.  The wording’s a little awkward; I think quotes work best when they’re as streamlined and concise as possible (so that they’re easier to remember); the “worth a flip…worth the shit” in such close proximity make me stumble.  I think something like “when you finally get one that isn’t, it wasn’t worth…” would maybe flow a bit better.  

I don’t like it, I wouldn’t repeat it.  It will probably in some way spoil my next piece of Chocolate.
