Poetry / Irony, Ecstasy, Loathing, and Dance
Irony such as
Going to “the woods”
To shot birds
Bred for hunting.
Getting hit
By and ambulance
Teaching one’s teacher
Taking care of one’s caregiver
Ecstasy such as
When you saw
Him for the first time
Or when you stood inches away from
An authentic Van Gogh impressionist wonder
And you could see the brush strokes
When the letter came and
And you were graduationg
Or when she came back
From being gone
Too long
Loathing such as
When your own father
Is extremely prejudiced
And he acts like it doesn’t even
Matter
And when people (and animals)
Are mindlessly
Cruelly hurt
For no reason at all
And when she doesn’t let you do
ANYTHING
Even though you were elected.
Dance such as
When that song
That rough rollicking
Bopping, thriving, lovely
Immaculate, unsurpassed nineteen-eighties song
Comes on.

Hmm i like it. i read it from the bottom up though for some reason. some of it seems like it jujust ends and i dont know it. especially in the irony section. like you are talking about one thing for god knows how long, then you star talking about another all of a sudden and for a short time. i was like what! but then the rest is good i think.
