Poetry / words - Sep. 16th, 2005 at 12:26 AM

Some words strike your heart like a hammer to an anvil with no metal inbetween. With the clash, the only thing we can understand is the tremendous ear pain. A striking red feeling hitting our brain just the same. We both know this is between us, some horrible sound we can’t help but make.
At these times I beleive that I am a creature of misery with no real happiness to give or share. Sanguine and bitter like a forlorn faery queen leading souls off the path to a beautiful death. Everything I touch seems to crumble and ash with eyes like cups seeming to drink my face and lips motioning the words “You’re beautiful”.
Like sand they slip away. Like sand they fall into eachother without distinction. I am the Ocean with an eturnity to break boulders-rocks-stones-pebbles-sand-sediment- mineral. I am the Ocean on every other day forgetting itself in sea foam and all things ephemeral. I am the Ocean pretending not be a mirror and a cover, seeing the sky and knowing I hold the memory and lives of more.

Sorrow is always close to happiness, nipping at her heels.
