If I grabbed you by the balls
and slapped you
with
Iraq
would you feel it?

If I grabbed
the
burning
Twin Towers
and shoved
one
up
each
of
your
nostrils
would you smell it?

If I bent you over
and shoved
Kuwait
and all of its
burning
oil fields
up your arrogant
white
ass
would you remove that smug look from your face?

If a hurricane
swept
your life off
its
pretty
Texan
foundation
would you
quickly
take
action
and move
into
the
Superdome?

You are attempting to combine reality and metaphor and it’s not really working. “If I grab you by the balls and slap you with Iraq” or “shove the Twin Towers up your nostrils”... frankly, it’s just not very eloquent. Sorry.

i dig it. i see where you’re coming from. i too am an angry american. maybe a little harsh but i totally know where it comes from so maybe it’s really not that harsh. anyhow, keep it up. keep up the fight to write.
