;) Thanks for the review.  I guess it’s not surprising that our memories are so fragile when you stop and think about how they are just electronic impulses stored in meat…  It’s a miracle that we have any memories at all.

;) There’s never a dull moment in my life.  I usually say this jokingly after I retell someone a story that they told me.  There’s so much going on in my life that I can never remember to whom I said what… Or else I’m going senile.

Yeah, it’s interesting to watch people tell stories about things that happened many years ago and see how they slowly start to put themselves into events that you know they were not there to witness.  The interesting thing about writing stories to me is to tell stories that “are” true.  If you can tell a true story, whether or not it actually happened, then you are telling a good story.

Thanks for the review.  It’s hard to carry the meaning in writing since a lot of it is in the verbal delivery.  The sense is that the person speaking is remembering something from someone else’s life.  That their life and the threads of other people’s lives are intertwined to the point that they can’t tell the difference.  And that, to your point, they are so absent minded that they get confused about what they’ve done vs. seen.
