Poetry / Face without a name

Sometimes we get all angry
At things that don’t make sense,
Sometimes we get all caught up
In things that are past tense.
Sometimes the road seems bumpier
than it ever has before,
Sometimes we trip, we stumble
We nearly hit the floor.
Sometimes the days feel shorter
But the nights they never end,
Sometimes I seem to struggle
That’s when I turn to you my friend.
The days may seem quite often dark
The moon may spread more light,
But in you I trust to protect my soul
And eliminate my fright.
I know sometimes I make mistakes
Sometimes play my cards all wrong,
But I’m not scared run without fear
My pain it’s made me strong.
I may not have a mother,
but I still turned out alright,
I spent endless nights in my father’s arms,
His love what held me tight.
He showed me how to still stand tall
Forget pain and just be strong,
Cause with him by my side there’s no dead ends,
Not a road I can go wrong.
You can grow up without any brothers,
And sisters just the same,
But to grow up without a mother
Is like a face without a name.

I certainly can understand what is this all about. It is spiritual but also very spontaneous which make it original. Also the last line that goes directly to the point -I like that. The end express very clear how much you respect this nameless individual. Excellent Job.
