You completely lose me at the end. I catch your idea, but only in feeling, so if the idea is to leave the quote up for interpretation, you’ve suceeded. It get’s really technical at the end and there is not enough information presented beforehand to be able to make a really coherent decision as to what you are saying, unless you are simply being ironic at the end, which I saw as an viable possibility if you intended it to be or not. If that is the case, then nice work because I laughed at the end.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes. That is nice..
I love this quote. It’s not the sort of thing you could put on a t-shirt, but it is the sort of phrase an artist could live by.
I share your sentiment.
Man…I’m not sure I’m going to get this even if you explain it to me. I’m trying to reconcile art, time and destruction in which destruction means time? and art is destruction? It’s like a literary math equation gone wrong.
Then again, I’m not a high lever thinker either. Sorry.
Your quote was in some ways and some ways not! Your syntax is a little hard to follow, and I think you have a subject-verb problem toward the end.
The way you worded it it’s not clear if you mean that you destroy the art or your time.
If I understood it – you say art is something unproductive. Something destructive?
Yes, you explaining it wouldn’t hurt ;)
Art can both be creation and destruction; sometimes at the same point.
It’s those that can see art for what it can achieve in that same sense.
People who will create such art doesn’t waste time, but instead stops time for time has stopped and immortalised itself in the piece.
Those are the true artists
If any of that made any sense or relevence I dont know, but it got that off my chest.
Good luck
It’s an interesting quote. Perhaps more could be done to make it clearer? Maybe tell how you destroy it? [just a suggestion] ‘Neither I produce’...do you mean to say ‘neither do I produce it’ or ‘either I produce OR I destroy’? The way you word it can cause confusion. Maybe clarify what you mean through rewording.
i dont know maybe its the way its worded but it just doesnt make any sense to me
Great quote, very deep and profoud; it really makes one stop and think. I would love to see how your creativity flows in a full piece consisting of more than one quote.
