You know what, someday you are going to understand how I feel right now. Someday someone is going to rip your heart out, just as you did mine. This person will be someone very important to you, someone you would give your own life for; you are going to pour your heart out to them and they are going to shove it back in your face. No matter what you do you are never going to be good enough for them so they’re going to leave, they are going to walk away and they are going to take your heart, your soul, your everything with them. No matter how hard you try to forget them you can’t, you never will. No matter what you do you simply can’t let them go. No matter how many times they knock you down, push you away or thrust you up against a wall, you just can’t turn your back on them. Something inside you, something from the very depths of your soul so deep down it can’t even claw itself out, something from the most twisted, irrational part of your mind whispers, ever so softly “Hold on just a little longer.”
Someday you will understand exactly how I feel because you’ll feel it too. And you know what else? When that happens you are going to think of me and what I am saying now and suddenly it’ll click, that little light bulb will turn on, everything will make sense and you are going to forgive me. Forgive me for everything I did, am doing and have not yet done and when you do you are going to find me, find me because you’ll know how, and you are going to tell me I was right. You are going to tell me you are sorry and you know what I’m going to do? I am going to forgive you because I’ll know the hell you’ll have been through.
