This quote reflects the fragile state of the human heart when faced with honest and accurate critiques. There is a certain amount of pride and passion in every bit of writing posted on Urbis and everyone at least expects a bit of praise or recognition. However, when a writer is faced with honest feed back their response is to lash out with rage and stupidity.

Yes this quote is quite obvious and I understand where you’re coming from. I’m sure that’s the way teachers in school feel everyday. The whole idea on this site is to offer help and yet still be gracious in giving encouragement. Aside from that, good quote.
No improvement for the quote – but in your reviewers’ notes you need to correct your spelling of :critisim – it’s spelled: criticism.
I believe that they’re aren’t too many perfect people on Urbis, but hopefully we’ll all improve in time.

Well, that is an interesting idea, however at times i feel entirely the same way. Its like no one will listen to advice that they ask for. A lot of people tend to get but hurt when you give them advice about how to make it better. They tend to just want praise, and lots of it but in reality is that helpful? No. Thanks for sharing that, I’m going to bet 90% of us feel the same way.

Haha. I get the strangest image of someone walking around and kicking puppies now. It’s all over my head, puppies flying about รถ. I like the choice of words, though. I suppose we are way too naive, some of us, and some do take criticism badly. Still, feel free to drop by once I get something of greater importance up and running. Nothing like a good slapping in order to get a better perspective ;>
