sure there is a spark
a spark as big as
you
and
me

it’s deep down in the wood
under the bark
be careful
though
you might blow it out
when you lift up
the
bark.

so next
time you
see the spark
in the bark

pause,
and think about
how long you waited
for the spark
in the bark
to appear

I’m a bit confused. What actually is this spark? And why are you writing a poem about it? This could be more clear, unless being cryptic is the aim (which it very well could be). Also, your lines are invariably short. Try to mix it up a little, makes it more interesting.
