Like a beacon in the night

You came into my life

Like a shelter from the storm

You kept me safe and warm

Like a candle with a flame

Light beams your name

You don’t know how beautiful you are….

Cause you’re my star

Just by being who you are

You’re a light in the dark

One who makes their mark

In a world that is so cold

What a sight you are to behold

You don’t how beautiful you are…

Cause you’re my star.

Like a sun shining at dawn

You seem to bring along

A light from deep within

That can get under the skin

Of those who try to resist

The beauty that surely exists

You don’t know how beautiful you are….

Cause you’re my star

Just by being who you are

You’re a light in the dark

One who makes their mark

In a world that is so cold

What a sight you are to behold

In a light of a soul straight out of the sky

You are the wings of an angel flying high

May you never forget and always know

You are too much of a blessing not to show

Always spread your wings and be what you are to be

I wish you could look through my eyes and truly see
