Nice antithesis in the last line, also a great juxta position -double play in the one line. ;) I can’t really give you any “advice” on how to rewrite this how I would write it, but I did enjoy it for what was there.

2nd line strange- crouching cat is a cleare pic. reaction to bombadeering birds. also fiting to oder present tense.
