Poetry / As We Should

Let me love you like angels’ love their God,
let me inhale you like a beggar’s dying breath.
Be my reality, infinite and unfathomable;
the soul to my being,
the heart to my beat.
Be my eyes, and I, your ears;
let us conquer this world together,
just as we should.

I liked it for the most part but I feel if you try you can go deeper with these sentiments.

Usually not a fan of love writings… but this is not cheesy and has great similes.  I like you kept it short, so that it did not become sappy and cliche.
