Poetry / All in my head?

Some questions are better left unanswered but,
Before I let myself feel too much,
I have to know where to draw the line.
It’s not easy for me to define.
Are we friends or could you be mine?

I feel some heat between us, is it a fire, or only
an animals desire?

This thing inside of me is screaming out invain.
This situation is driving me insane.
I want to sircome to these feelings I can’t yet use.
I need to know if you feelthem too.

Your voice breaks thorugh the emptiness,
And leaves me wanting more.
Aside from you I have nothing to gain or lose.
Where I want to be is here with you.

But my head is jealous, is it all in my head.
It seems there’s somewhere else you’d rather be instead,
Is it all in my head.
