Poetry / Another Day

Open eyes to the light,
When It’s all just too bright.
Another day with nothing to say.
Wish I could roll over and make it all go away.
It’s coming up,
I can’t hold it back.
To many ways to get lost,
When it never feels like I’m here with in myself.
Falling back,
Trying to keep the dam from breaking,
Trying to keep my whole world from shaking.
I could just forget it all and be on my way,
But the dreams are worth staying.
I lose control of the natural flow,
It burns and rapes my soul.
Doesn’t matter in this world.
It’s taken me far too long,
Think I’ll be here all too long.

This sounds so much like lyrics that I supplied my own musical score in my head as I read it. Have you ever thought of tring it that way, maybe adding a chorus and a bridge. I urge you to look into it. This is going to be stuck in my head (with music) all day.

My best friend keeps telling me my shit should be put to music but, I don’t have the capasity for it. I can sing but, I can’t read or write music. If you can do it man, I loved to hear it. Thanks for the props though man.
