Poetry / Why Do Lips Taste Sharp in the Dark?
From beneath me,
she complained about my taste.
Lips to her sternum,
waist to waist.
“Alcohol’s what all the other boys taste like, right?”
Stiletto metronome in the pace of flight.
Her perfume stung our tongues is all.
Why do lips taste sharp in the dark?

I hate to use harsh language, but Fuck Yeah. your imagery is awesome, and your rhyme placement is great. I don’t know if i even have any criticisms – i did feel lost between the last two lines, they feel like they are missing an awesome transition. seriously, one line away from perfection
